We hope you all enjoyed the recent bank holiday (shame about the rain!), we were open over the weekend and the Monday with a fair level of success considering the poor weather.
We have had a recent spate of sale properties come onto the market which have surpassed our expectations and sold very quickly, in a few cases in excess of their asking prices. We still have a strong applicant list of HOT buyers that have been qualified by our mortgage advisor's and are ready to purchase homes in the area. The attraction of our area to potential purchasers is still driven by the excellent schooling and the superb travel links to London and the Airport.
The lettings department have seen a brief recovery in the amount of available properties, however there is still a really strong demand resulting in more than one tenant wanting each property. We have become inundated with the latest wave of new employee’s from Ryanair looking for quality, furnished accommodation to share. We are constantly being praised by tenants for the way our management team deal with our portfolio of property which is a real commendation to the hard work put in by our staff, well done!

Welcome back to our latest edition of the newsletter, we have been incredibly busy over the first three months of this year and the market is showing no signs of slowing up.
From a sales prospective general stock is low and good buyers are sitting and waiting with mortgages agreed ready to pounce on well presented properties that are priced right.
On the lettings side of things after a brief recovery in the amount of available properties we are back to a shortage with tenants fighting over properties the day they become available. We are also finding more and more that tenants are requesting that the properties they choose to take are managed by David Lee this is a great boost to our team who work especially hard to provide a great service to both our Landlords and Tenants.
From all of us at David Lee we would like to wish you a Happy Easter we will be around for viewings and valuations over the holidays but on slightly reduced hours:

Welcome back we hope you all had a great break and festive season we certainly enjoyed the time off!
Since we have got back we have been checking our web statistics through the month of January and the activity on our website and the property portals has been very exciting it seems that from Boxing day onwards the 'New Year, New House' hunt had begun.

There has been some worrying reports in the news in the last month talking about recession and depression in the UK property market. However throughout what we thought was going to be a quiet August we actually did 32% more business this year than last! We are delighted with the interest in the local market and what we have experienced as a busy three months.
This has left us with a shortage of property in both our sales and rentals departments for which we have great applicants ready to pounce at all price levels.

Welcome to the August Edition of the David Lee Newsletter.
We are now into the summer holiday season and it seems that everyone with kids off is taking the opportunity to get away. However we are now left with some serious buyers ready to pounce on great new properties we are launching every week so have still been very busy.
As usual the Lettings team are inundated with fresh enquires every day for rental properties and the market locally is storming along and we are seeing an increase in rental prices across the board which is great news for our investor landlords, however not so good for our prospective tenants.

After a month with a staggering 4 bank holidays, A Royal Wedding and half term in the mix we have appeared at the end of this month with suprisingly promising results. We have seen a new surge of property coming onto the market in the first day back after the break which is very encouraging.

March has been an interesting month for us here at David Lee it seems that the sales market is well and truly underway with a new sales record being set for March!
However my lettings team are crying out for new properties we currently have many eager tenants waiting to snap up any new rentals we list, and dare i say it because of this lack in supply the prices for rentals are starting to creep up.
